Sisters, Brothers, Kin, and allies—
We are writing you with a critical action.
Due to the impact of COVID-19 on the 2020 general election, we want
to ensure that you are as informed as possible and make a plan to vote
on November 3, 2020.
Let’s amplify our voices by taking a pledge to vote in the upcoming election!
By taking this pledge, you are making a commitment to help improve your community
and a promise to vote!
As a union member, taking the pledge is the first step in initiating legislative change to
strengthen unions and the rights of union members.
Taking the pledge can help boost the quality of collective bargaining rights, ensure
Congress passes much-needed stimulus relief and protect the future of the labor
movement and its workers.
1.) Will you vote by mail or in person?
2.) Will you vote early or on Election Day?
3.) Do you know how to register to vote by mail in your state (if necessary)?
4.) Do you know your polling location if you plan to vote in person, and how
you will get there?
Here’s the thing. While your ballot is secret and who you vote for is private,
whether or not you vote is public record, so don't be left out in 2020!
