Our organization, I.A.T.S.E. Local 46, is the Local Chapter of the International Alliance of Theatrical and Stage Employees, Moving Picture Technicians, Artists and Allied Crafts of the United States, its' territories and Canada.  Our office is located in Nashville Tennessee, and our Chapter celebrated "100 Years of Service" in July, 1997.

I.A.T.S.E. Local 46 has represented entertainment workers in the Nashville area since 1897.  Consistently providing trained, skilled, certified and experienced labor for Concerts, Broadway Theater, Industrials, Meetings and Conventions.

We have on our employee roster, four hundred and fifty men and women who are experienced workers in all phases of the entertainment industry, trade shows and sporting events.

At present time, our organization provides staff for virtually all productions at the Opry House, including the weekly presentation of The Grand Ole Opry.  Our office also provides staffing for the yearly production of the Country Music Association Awards, Flameworthy Awards, Dove Awards, Rockettes Christmas Spectacular and many of the concerts and special events throughout the Nashville area.

Our members are comprised of Electricians, Audio Engineers, Spotlight Operators, Stage Carpenters, Set Decorators, Riggers, Camera Operators and Set Construction General Laborers as well as Utility Personel.  Our staff also includes Certified Forklift Drivers, CDL Truck Drivers, Truck Loaders, Carpet Layers, MIS Personnel, P & D and Creative Services Personnel. All our work is performed in accordance with the highest industry standards.

We have worked in virtually every major venue in the greater Nashville Area.  We hold all of the proper insurance and bonding required by the venues we work in.  In the past few years we have worked in the following venues:
